Patent news isn’t usually this delicious. Le Vian Corporation — famous for successfully using food terms to describe diamonds in the jewelry business — was granted a trademark for “Vanilla Diamonds” by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Vanilla Diamonds join Blueberry Sapphires, Mixberry Diamonds, Hard Candy Amethysts, Honey and Strawberry Gold and, of course, Chocolate Diamonds as sweetly-named products from the jewelry manufacturer.
