Le Vian Corporation — famous for successfully using food terms to describe diamonds in the jewelry business — was granted a trademark for “Vanilla Diamonds” by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Vanilla Diamonds join Blueberry Sapphires, Mixberry Diamonds, Hard Candy Amethysts, Honey and Strawberry Gold and, of course, Chocolate Diamonds as sweetly-named products from the jewelry manufacturer.
We are in the process of creating this stunning pink pearl and sapphire ring. This design is for an internet customer who wants a unique setting with a lovely pink pearl center. On the shank it will feature milgrain as well as white accent diamonds all set in 14k white gold.
The intensity of the color is described as how strong the color is shown in the diamond. The color can be anywhere between a soft whisper to a strong vivid shade. GIA developed an intensity scale to properly define the intensity level of the diamond.
